Raluca Barbuleanu

She holds on currently the position of project manager on the project ,,Active Citizenship Through New Opportunities Worldwide –Act Now’’ and she is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing the Regional Association for Rural Development, Romania. Raluca worked in numerous EVS group projects in charge with delivering monitoring and evaluation for EVS group projects in the South of Romania and she is also a worldwide volunteering manager for Latin America and South Africa and Head of the Technical Assistance Unit within the Regional Association for Rural Development.


Alexandru Diaconescu

Alexandru  has been in the NGO field for more than 8 years now, scaling up from a volunteer position to the one he currently holds - Head of the Life Long Learning Education Programme within the Regional Association for the Rural Development. He has worked in numerous EVS group projects as project manager. 
Currently, he also holds the full time position as the coordinator of the online Yes for EVS Platform.


Radu Petcu

Radu is a Lecturer for the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology, University of Craiova, Romania. Since 2009, Radu  is a founding member and executive director of the Institute for Development Policy, NGO based in Craiova, Romania, being involved in numerous programmes targeting local public administration and civil society. IPD horizon of research goes in different areas of interest such as political science, philosophy, theories of democracy and strengthening civil society development, theories of development and modernization, globalization processes.
With ARDR he is responsible for development of the operations in Mehedinti county and holds a full time position as manager of the project Participation Standards for Active Citizenship co-financed by the European Social Fund.


Tamoifo Nkom Marie

Marie is the president of “Association Jeunesse Verte du Cameroun’’, an NGO based in Cameroon that activates at the national level, having focal points all over the country. She is also the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing AJVC.  Marie has dedicated her life to promote and to improve civil society participation and work.
During the French and African Head of States Summit that took place in Bamako 2005, she was the African woman representative of youth who spoke in youth name. She organized the regional youth consultation of central Africa towards Africa -Europe Summit that took place in Lisbon in 2007. At the end of 2008, she was elected by the central Africa youths leaders, the regional coordinator of REJEFAC (Youth network of central African for forest) and she has been coordinating the national network since then.


William Djoulde

He represents one of the focal points of Association Jeunesse Verte du Cameroun. He has extensive experience in youth work, supporting AJVC national and international projects. William has been one of the youth workers part of the job shadowing programme developed in Romania, April-May 2011, within Act Now project, contributing to the analysis of more than 10 communities, in terms of risks and opportunities in the realm of EVS, and to the development of the EVS Country Guide for Southern Romainain communities.
William is also a consultant in issues concerning the decentralization process for public institutions in Cameroon and a consultant on behalf of Association Jeunesse Verte du Cameroun on environment issues, setting up projects to fight against the abusive use of wood heat in the region of the Far North and Eastern Cameroon.


Tabe Divina  Tabi Tabe

Represents the Ministry of Environment in Cameroon. She is also part of the Club of Friends of Nature, working as a partner organization for the Ministry, in a sensitization programme addressed to youth, on environment issues. The organization is interested in hosting EVS volunteers and involving them in environment projects. 


James E. Ebube

He is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing CHIDO Sierra Leone. He holds a certificate  in EU Project Management Cycle and he has been working as a Programme Manager for 9 years in community based projects (2001-2009) in Sierra Leone having as main areas of intervention: gender equality and access to education; improving social and economic opportunities in rural communities; empowering women from the rural areas and offering youth development opportunities, through training/capacity building and income generating activities; community mobilization and awareness on Women and Child’s Rights, Reproductive Health, Human Rights, Gender Based Violence, and HIV/AIDS issues.


Anthony Alimami Koroma

He currently holds the position of Commissioner within the National Youth Commission of Sierra Leone after holding for 5 years the position of Director of Youth within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Sierra Leone, being intensively involved in formulating and coordinating the implementation of youth development policies and programmes and managing intensive collaboration with related government departments, United Nations Agencies, NGOs and other international organizations.
Anthony has also been in charged as Head of the Youth Employment Scheme and it is the author of numerous works that touch on the role of youth in economic growth, peace and security and the need for social inclusion of youth.


Jose Luis Quinones

Jose Luis is the founder of Association Jovenes de Buena Voluntad and currently the general director of JBV. He is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing JBV, Peru. Jovenes de Buena Voluntad has recently become full member of REDAVIS, an international network of organizations including Brasil, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay.
Jose Luis has been investing years of work and efforts on promoting volunteering and non-formal education at local, regional, national and international level, as a means to improve education, collaboration between different social actors, empowering local communities for self management.


Bengt Söderlind

He is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing NBV, Sweden. Bengt works in NBV a national study organization, with 17 regional structures all over Sweden. He has extensive experience in working as a youth leader, trainer, coordinator, organizer, project manager, working mainly through non formal education and voluntary study courses within international projects and collaborating with a wide range of youth centers at local, regional and international level.  


Hector Gabriel Valfre

He is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing OAJNU, Argentina. Gabriel has been part of OAJNU (Organización Argentina de Jóvenes para las Naciones Unidas - the Argentinean Youth Organization for United Nations) since 1999, in 2010 being the president of OAJNU. OAJNU works with a significant number of young volunteers, having headquarters in five of the biggest cities of Argentina. OAJNU works for promoting active citizenship, democratic principles and human rights, improvement of education and participation of youth in the political life.
Gabriel also works for the Government of the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, responsible for the General Administration and Management of the Provincial Public Administration Institute, an organism that is part of the Public Function Secretary, being in charge of capacity building for public agents.


Robin Konieczny

He is the country manager within the Youth Empowerment Network, representing Norfolk County Council, UK. Robin is an experienced youth worker who specialises in the active involvement of young people in democracy and decision-making, and is currently working as Senior Consultation and Involvement Officer within Norfolk County Council.
Robin’s career in youth work, spanning 30 years, has included running youth centres, specialising in work with boys and young men and International Youth Cooperation.

He is also active within his trade union being a national lay member sitting on several national committees.
